HICs start at 8:00 am and go until 12:00pm on Monday. It is first come first served in the pens by the large arena just across from the RV camping Those that signed up ahead of time get priority. If you signed up ahead of time try to come earlier. In other words, don’t assume you’ll get in if you show up at 11:45 and demand we test your dog. We stop at 12:00 so that the testers and volunteers can get to their respective events and maybe get a bite to eat:0) Last year we were able to test 50 dogs in that amount of time, and we have about 25 signed up so if you didn’t sign up ahead of time, and would still like to see Bluey or Red try out some sheep then come on over.

T-shirts are being packed up right now and should start shipping today through Thursday. For those of you that are picking up at the show, shirts will be in Heeler Headquarters along with your welcome packets.

Expect some confusion on your first attempt. Here are a few suggestions to get you started.

This year’s registration is not a one-step process. You can come and go from the store as much as you wish

Register/login in to the store section (those who have sponsored trophies through the website already have accounts)

1. You sign-up for each event through its own online pdf form which you can email or print and mail. (online registration for the parade of rescue/title holders and property classes is STRONGLY recommended).

2. You pay through the “store”. Add the quantity of your sign-up example: Banquet Tickets or Property Class Entries to your cart. When you are ready to pay, you check out. The cart will retain your items for several days so you need not check out each time.

3. Registration is not complete until you have submitted all the forms AND PAID.

4. For now, T-shirts are a bit different. You can either use Paypal.com to send funds to treasurer@acdca.org (be sure to mark them for ACDCA T-shirts as we will also have CACDC T-shirts for sale) OR phone in your credit card info to the ACDCA treasurer or mail with a check. Questions regarding T-Shirts should be addressed to Alison Deilke deilkea@whidbey.com

In the event you are totally confused and lost - email info@acdca2007.com and we’ll try to assist.

Ready? Start Here > SIGN ME UP!!

Each PDF registration form should open in a new window/tab and you can return to the bottom of that page to add items to your cart.

***Please note at the top of the page in the left-hand sidebar there are links to the Registration for Property Classes and Catalog Advertising.***

There is also still time to sponsor trophies and get your name in the catalog! Plenty of good slots are left including a few AOMs and Reserves as well as High Combined in Obedience!

Most registrations and T-shirt orders are due by August 25!

There is no registration or admission to be a spectator - if you want to see the gathering of the best cattle dogs and their people from all over the world get ready to Totem Up North!

The Cascade ACD Club is thrilled to once again host the ACDCA National Specialty. We have a week packed with competitions, parties, educational programs and most of all fun for those of us that can’t get enough of all things Cattle Dog!

The backdrop for our show this year is the breathtakingly beautiful corner of the Pacific Northwest. You can’t get much more “northwest” than where we will be, nestled in between the unique jagged beauty of the Olympic Mountain range to the west and the majestic Cascade Mountains to the east with Puget Sound in the middle of it all. There are many islands in Puget Sound, a short ferry ride away, that offer a slower pace, friendly people and natural beauty beyond compare. If city life is more to your liking, Seattle is only about an hour away and offers a wide array of activities. Seattle is home to the Experience Music Center, Starbucks (yes, once upon a time there was only one) Boeing Aircraft, Microsoft, the Seattle Center with the monorail and Seattle’s most recognizable landmark, the Space Needle. Seattle is also home to world class dining where seafood is king, magnificent museums, the Underground City, and enough activities to keep the adventurous delighted for weeks. Born out of the timber, Seattle is clean, safe, and friendly. Seattle is so great that the richest man in the world lives there, and he can live anywhere! For those that really seek out adventure, Mt. St. Helens, the lower forty eight’s only active volcano, is about three hours away. Entire forests were laid down like toothpicks in the massive explosion that literally blew the top off the mountain in 1980. There is a very informative Visitors Center at Mt. St. Helens and for a unique and educational experience this is a fantastic opportunity.

Starting on Saturday, September 22, this fun filled week will begin with an ACDCA designated regional obedience and rally trial, followed up Sunday by the ACDCA designated national obedience, rally and agility trials. For those agility competitors that want to “get a jump” on things, there is an all breed trial, hosted by the Cascade Dachshund Club about fifty miles south, in Kent, WA on Saturday. Cascade Club specialty conformation and sweepstakes will also be held both days during the weekend. Monday will feature a plethora of health related clinics, the popular Properties classes, herding instinct tests, western barbeque and the exciting Calcutta. Tuesday will start with our puppy hopefuls and distinguished veterans in sweepstakes, followed by class dogs. Wednesday will begin with class bitches, followed by Best of Breed capped off with the business of our club at the annual meeting. Thursday the rubber hits the road with the first day of herding trials at nearby On the Lamb Farm. This picturesque farm is completely set up and ready to go for two days of fun and excitement. Thursday night all the zaniness and guaranteed fun of Dingo Bingo will entertain us while we win great prizes. Friday culminates our week with the awards banquet to honor the very best our breed has to offer in all the venues. This year we even have the added fun to be hosted by our friends in Canada at their national specialty beginning Saturday, September 29 a short two hour drive north. Plan to bring your passport for an easier crossing back into the US.

The Cascade Club has worked very hard to make this week a special one for you and your dogs. We realize that for many this week is your vacation and we will be honored to have you share that with us. So, pack your bags, load up your dogs and Totem Up North!!

When you see me this year at nationals you will undoubtedly notice new gray hairs due to the ordeal of lining up a shopping cart with the payment system and database so that it is now possible for sponsors to “shop” for their trophy donation award online.

*** Hurry and sign up at our online store and make your trophy donations. The process is secure; your information will be kept private. ***
If you prefer to mail a check you’ll find a sponsorship form on the Trophy page

Several trophy sponsorships have already been received. The online list of sponsors is coming soon along with more photos of the great trophies offered this year.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, good humor, and assistance to make this online process a reality!
